This site was created by community volunteers.  All listings are free. To post a local foods business all that is needed is to send copy ready information following the format on the site.  

The purpose of this site is to encourage a more sustainable and harmonious relationship between ourselves, the environment and all living things.  Obtaining the bulk of our nourishment from local sources not only supports our health but the health of the planet. 

Based on this belief, the mission of EatLocalFood.org is simply to provide convenience and ease for those interested in eating locally which simultaneously will help to promote, support and sustain our local community. 

On this site you will find practical sources of local, wholesome foods, hands-on educational opportunities and an open venue for all related communications.
